LOTTE GROUP celebrates 2019 Declaration of Value Creation Culture

LOTTE GROUP announced today that the ceremony was held at the Jamsil Lotte Hotel World in Seoul for the development and spread of Lotte's corporate culture
The ceremony was attended by more than 500 employees including Hwang Gak gyu, CEO of Lotte Corporation, representatives of 47 affiliates, and the union chairperson(worker's representative). In addition, Mr. Jae-Gap Lee, Minister of Employment and Labor, Kim Joo young, Chairman of the Korean Federation of Labor Unions, Kim Yong geun,Vice Chairman of the Korean Executives Association, and Lee Kyung Mook, professor at Seoul National University.
Participants shared the achievements of labor and management, reflecting on the meaning of Value Creation Culture proclaimed in 2015.
In particular, LOTTE GROUP presented its first corporate culture white paper that systematically organized Value Creation Culture.
The LOTTE GROUP Culture White Paper, prepared and ready for publication by August, will contain a variety of contents, including the origin and traces of Lotte's corporate culture, the system and characteristics of Value Creation Culture, its performance, and related indicators and examples.
LOTTE GROUP plans to distribute corporate culture white papers to employees of affiliates, major libraries and public institutions in June.
At the ceremony, awards were given to affiliates and employees who worked hard to realize a culture of Value Creation for the past year.
In the Company's Prize section, Lotte Chilsung Beverage won the company's Value Creation Culture Grand Prize.
In the Individual Prize section 'Value Creation Master', Noh Jae hyun, head of the Lotte Department store Employee Welfare Team won the Grand Prize. Mr. Noh has improved the employee satisfaction by operating an industry-leading advanced welfare system, including a psychological care program to protect workers and an organization dedicated to grievance counseling.
